Americhem Sales Corporation is located in Mason, MI seven miles directly south of Lansing and is home for 25 team members.
Bruce L. Whetter purchased the assets of the old Americhem Corporation 20 acre site in 1998 and renamed the company Americhem Sales Corporation. Whetter entered into a Covenant Not To Sue (CNTS) with the State of Michigan and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) prior to purchasing the assets of the old company that had been in operation since 1970.
Americhem Sales Corporation immediately began GOING GREEN in 1998 working jointly with the MDEQ on a comprehensive long term clean up of the contaminated site. The old solvents tank farm was removed, underground storage tanks (USTs) were removed and the beginning of a new company was under way. A new state-of-the-art solvents 500,000 gallon tank farm was built, a new under roof/heated and secure 500,000 gallon oils tank farm was constructed and a totally enclosed, with full containment, secure scale house with two (2) 120,000 pound state certified scales all were designed and built working with the MDEQ on the engineering for the new construction.
Americhem Sales Corporation has become a leader in responsible chemical distribution as evidenced by receiving the NACDS FIRST ANNUAL RESPONSIBLE DISTRIBUTION EXCELLENCE AWARD in 2006. Americhem Sales Corporation was recognized by the NACD for demonstrating outstanding performance of its Responsible Distribution Process (RDP). The RDP Committee is proud to recognize Americhem Sales Corporation as the first recipient of this award, RDP Committee Chair Doug Kutz said. Bruce Whetter and his team at Americhem not only have established themselves as high achievers, they have been and continue to be terrific ambassadors for the RDP program.
ASC is a Midwest chemical distributor and blender that carries a full line of industrial chemicals, solvents, oils and automotive fluids. ASCs facility in South Central Michigan features dedicated product tanks, dedicated transfer lines, dedicated pumps and dedicated transfer hoses. An on-site laboratory facility ensures products distributed by ASC are of high quality and integrity. ASC has a fleet of 21 tanker trailers of various compartment sizes and five van trailers.

ASC Performance Racing Fuels is a subsidiary company of ASC and has been named the Midwest distributor for high quality racing fuel produced by Chevron Phillips Company.
